Brief recap of Stage 3:
The drama continues. Full of confidence entering one of the longer Stages, Charles Bedley used his high weekly mileage training to his benefit by claiming victory in Stage 3 by 1:39. Due to his strong performance, Charles captured his first Gold Jersey, and now holds an incredible 1 second lead over Rich Tremain after 66 km of this 160 km endurance running test. Well done Charles!
Being a 6 loop course, having the opportunity to watch the perseverance and determination of the participants after each loop was an incredible and inspirational experience for all those in attendance.
Best of luck to all participants as we now head into the hilly stages.
