Complete all races within a total time between 12 and 13 hours. |
| Personal bests |
5 km - 20:21; 8 km -33:39; 10 km - 42:27; 8 mi 58: 59; ½ marathon
- 1:40; marathon - 3:57. I encountered an injury in the Marathon
where the last 6 miles took me 75 minutes instead of the usual 45.
I was happy to finish that one. During the ENDURrun I will be looking
at setting new personal bests for the 1/2 and full Marathons. |

I equally enjoy all race distances. My favourite training runs
include 3, 5, and 8 mile repeats. |
| Favourite race food, drink |
PRE race it's A.C.T. energy drinks within 30 minutes to 1 hour
of the race, 2-3 hours before a high carb cereal with banana or craisins,
coffee and water to ensure my hydration level is up. DURING races
its Cliff Energy Shots (chewable), Endura (electrolyte replacement
drink) and water. POST race it is usually something like homemade
protein balls or Premium protein shakes, followed by whatever drinks
available for rehydration. If I do really well, I treat myself to
Dairy Queen ice cream. |

I started running 3 years ago. Did some running back in high school
and I could run less then a then a 5 minute mile back then. I hope
to get back to the high school times if the body will hold up. |

I look forward to the mental and physical challenge of the ENDURrun,
have fun and enjoy the camaraderie. |
